Chiropractic Adjustment

Better overall functioning.

Adjustments are spinal manipulations that can give the body better overall function. In this procedure, the chiropractor uses their hands or a small instrument to apply a sudden yet controlled force to the spinal joint.

Proven Results Include Relief of

Low Back Pain

Neck Pain

Headaches

Sciatica

There are many techniques chiropractors use to achieve spinal manipulation. Based on the area of concern, your health, and your comfort level, Dr. Renee will choose the best technique to use for you.

The Manual Manipulation Method

The most common type of adjustment, using hands to apply a controlled rapid force to move bones “back into place” and increase range and quality of motion. Patient position and/or the chiropractic table may frequently need re-adjusting to improve the results of each manual adjustment.

The Activator Method

This method uses a small hand-held device to deliver a precise and targeted adjustment with only a light clicking sound from the instrument. Since it uses less force than the manual manipulation method, some find it to be a more comfortable treatment. The result, however, is the same for both methods.

Pairing Chiropractic Care with Massage Therapy

Chiropractic adjustments reduce misalignments in the joints of the spine and body. The adjustments help reduce pain and inflammation while simultaneously improving the affected joints and nervous system. On the other hand, massage therapy focuses more on the muscles and tendons of the body that are impacted by inflammation or pain.

By reducing restriction and inflammation in both the nervous system and the muscles, the body is better able to communicate and therefore better able to function. Getting both chiropractic adjustments and massages on a regular basis can enhance your overall health and wellness.

Benefits of Pairing Chiropractic & Massage:

Increase blood flow

Improve immune system function

Increase flexibility

Improve range of motion
